For your safety I believe you should make your game and It's sequel free because of the copyright laws. You are using IPs that you do not own and making money off of it. If you don't make this change there is a chance you could be sued by the copyright owners or worse. I hope you understand what you are doing and why it is wrong and dangerous.
They're not going to make it free, and you know that. If it's paid pay for the game because they might need money and just because you're a follower doesn't mean they're going to make it free for you because if they make it free for you, they have to make it free for everyone. Plus, you're just a random person begging for it.
The game is good graphically, the concept is good but the way is done is just bad. The game just looks kind of lame made in other concepts that aren't ambient of graphics. This game is different to other spongebob horror games because it's not so linear and it's actually cool! But then the story is developed in a very lazy way even for a joke game. The chase sequence is just boring and doesn't really brings you too much intense feelings. The shrek ending is actually funny and well made, it looks to have dedication on it.
This game has problems but it is a cool experience, still not really worth paying 4.99 for this for the short gameplay it has and the game itself.

For a quarter of Pizza Tower's price, you get this game. Something that is only 40 minutes of gameplay, no fun mechanics, and has virtually no replay value.
To claim that there is enough content for the $5 price tag is just blatantly ignorant of other games that are for sale.
Itch.io is a platform for new and indie game developers looking for support and 5$ for this game is not just for the game, it's for supporting the developer.
As a solo developer, I could not make a 1h long game with new mechanics and I understand that this game doesn't worth 5$ but as I said it's not about the game only, it's a significant support to the developer as well.

Besides our heated discussion before, I actually wanted to ask if this is a nice game to play? I saw it passing by before and I was thinking about it to play. It looks nice and creepy though. I saw a different SpongeBob game as well before but I can't find it anymore. Was that this one? Consider playing homecoming as well. Pretty creepy!
